General Function: Responsible for overseeing the assistive technology program, ensuring that students receive assistive technology-based accommodations in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Coordinates alternate text conversion requests, providing direction to student workers, and providing training to students on utilizing assistive technology equipment and software. Assists in ensuring that ADS is up to date with current trends and advances in assistive technology.
