An employee in this classification performs work of moderate difficulty by ensuring that students with disabilities are provided the assistive technology, accessible text, and other tools that they need to access their course(s) in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, in collaboration with faculty and other staff. Work is distinguished by the ability to provide ongoing case management, follow-up, and support to students regarding testing accommodations, assistive technology, and alternate format materials, and engage with staff, faculty, and administrators to promote equity, inclusive practices, universal design, and accessibility while reframing disability from a diversity perspectiv
