Job Summary:An Assistive Technology Instructor provides comprehensive training for people with visual impairments on hardware or software as they pursue independence through the use of computers and other modern technology.Duties/Responsibilities:Provide evaluation, instruction, and consultation to people with visual impairments in skill areas focusing on effective use of access technology with computer applications to achieve vocational, educational, or personal goals.• Work with diverse populations and multiple community referral partners.• Independently manage assigned caseload of clients.• Accurately identify consumer needs and goals.• Project instructional hours and equipment needed.• Tailor teaching strategies to consumers’ learning
