Hoveround is actively seeking a Full Time traveling Assistive Technology Professional(ATP) to join our team. The Assistive Technology Professional will travel the Southeastern United States to evaluate Hoveround generated clients to determine their Rehab/Assistive Technology needs or seating and mobility needs based on the physician orders and the therapist’s assessment findings.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•  Must be willing to travel for this position M-F sometimes weekends
• Evaluate customers for Complex Rehab equipment needs, delivers and fits equipment.
• Work with patients, therapists, physicians, and referral sources in the field to determine and provide the most appropriate assistive technology and complex rehab technology equipment needs for client.
• Completes quotes and orders in a timely manner ensuring all required documentation is accurate and complete
• Responds to customer and referral inquiries, requests and complaints in a timely manner.
• Assists in the education of customer service and delivery staff regarding the proper use, selection and servicing of Rehab Technology products.
• Market Hoveround Mobility and Rehab Services by calling on referral sources
• Meets all set productivity and performance standards.
• Maintains certifications and licenses; obtaining all required continuing education annually to assure no lapse in coverage; stays abreast of funding requirements and technological advances within the Rehab Technology industry
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

• Current Assistive Technology Professional certification required
• 2-5 years of experience in the Complex Rehab Industry preferred.
•  Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred but not a must
• Clinician (OT, PT, COTA, PTA, RN) or health related degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
•  Experience with window-based computer and related software applications
• Active driver’s license
