The Assistive Technology Professional has primary responsibility assessing rehabilitation patients, evaluating patient needs, and selecting the the proper assistive technology. The ATP is responsible to the client, assuring timely and accurate acquisition of equipment and delivery. The ATP impacts the overall success of the branch by increasing branch sales and rental revenue, coordinating and managing referral source relationships and promoting quality customer service. The ideal ATP focuses on helping our clients receive the best care, works as an advocate for the client by building rapport, supporting, reassuring and educating the client throughout every interaction.

-Computer skills including MS Office applications

-Current RESNA ATP certification
-Exact job experience in Rehab seating experience
-Valid and unrestricted driver's license
-2 years of HME experience
-Ability to bend, stoop, and stretch
-Ability to perform repetitive motions of wrists hands and/or fingers due to extensive computer use
-Subject to long periods of sitting and exposure to computer screen
-Must demonstrate respect for privacy
-Must be able to lift 50lbs and occasional lifting of up to 100lbs
-May be exposed to hazardous materials, loud noise, extreme heat/cold, direct bloodborne and potentially infectious pathogens
-Ability to drive delivery van or truck safely
-Must be able to work extended hours
-Must pass physical abilities and drug test
-Moderate to heavy physical labor when moving, loading, or unloading equipment
