Intake Coordinator are a vital part of our organization. They are primary point of contact for most of the patients, caregivers, therapist, and medical professionals. They work with the ATPs (Assistive Technology Specialist) to provide equipment meeting the patients' mobility needs. This position requires hard work and dedication to achieve the goals of your team.
Essential Duties Include:
Assist patients throughout the process of receiving their mobility assistive equipment.
Gather documentation required for qualifying patients.
Assist ATPs throughout the process.
Communicates with management or other employees with any issues that may arise during the process.
Understand Medicare/Medicaid/Private Insurance guidelines and requirements.
Work with billing software to enter and upload all relevant information.
Basic understanding of Medicare guidelines for medical equipment
Proficiency in Windows based software (i.e. Word, Internet Explorer, etc)
